Cornet Switching Systems Ltd was established to market the Cornet Technology Inc. products in the UK and Ireland. We have joined forces with GGR Communications Ltd, a LAN/ WAN solution supplier, to be in a position to provide effective turn-key technical control and networking solutions to commercial and military applications.
The Cornet Switching Systems Ltd product portfolio covers a range of vendor independent products which include Manual Patching, PC Controlled Patching, and Matrix Switching. The associated services offered include consultancy services, installation, training and a range of maintenance options.
The technical control products are designed to provide engineering access and reconfiguration in Wide Area Networks. They allow easy and error free access to data communications channels without the need for disconnecting and reconnecting cables.
Typical users of Matrix Switching are datacentres with multiple communication circuits that require automated electronic cross connect and interconnect. This allows rapid datacentre reconfiguration to meet changing and tactical environments. This is usually controlled with computer controlled network management systems and Graphical User Interfaces. In addition, systems may be controlled by third party overarching control systems via SNMP.
