A multiservice access concentrator, the IPGate 1000-16 can reliably and securely transport legacy TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) and other circuit-based applications across converged IP networks. The IPGate 1000-16 provides the capacity to support a wide variety of analogue or digital interfaces at configurable rates from 75bps to 2.048 Mbps.
With optional front panel connectors, test equipment can be attached to the front panel monitor bus to allow passive monitoring. There is also the option with the IPGate 1000-16 to establish a broadcast mode for point-to-multi-point communications. • Selectable interfaces:
