Switching Solution for Today's CCTV Environments
Cornet Technology, Inc. Introduces the VTX-A Video Matrix Switch
Springfield, VA - April 19, 1999 Cornet Technology, Inc., the leader
in high-speed matrix switching, today announced the VTX-A, a cost-effective
analog video-matrix switch designed for Closed Circuit TV video collection
and distribution requirements. The VTX-A is the heart of a series
of new video-based products introduced for Intelligent Transportation
Systems, Emergency Management Centers, Transportation Facility Surveillance,
and Building and Grounds Security where the need for high quality
video is a must.
The modular and stackable VTX-A accommodates analog signal distribution
permitting customers to continue to use existing analog monitors and
allow existing CCTV analog input channels to be switched. Consisting
of a video matrix switch, power supply, and control system, the VTX-A
accepts video signals from multiple antennae, cameras, or cassette
sources and switches those signals to various output equipment, such
as video transmitters, video processing devices, video monitors, or
other cassette recorders. A unique feature of the VTX-A is its ability
to switch one input to multiple outputs.
Versatile and self-contained the high-performance, standards-based
VTX-A is available in a wide range of configurations from a standard
1U high 16x16 port unit to a 3U 64x32 port unit. These switches are
available in stand-alone and in multilevel, multi-format units.
Control for this system is through Cornet Technology, Inc's user-friendly
video controller software that is compatible with all other Cornet
Technology, Inc products.
The VTX-A is available immediately.
