CorScan
Control of the MTX can be provided by CorScan
a Windows 95/98/NT based control platform
CorScan can provide control of up to 16 MTX switches and support
of 16 simultaneous users. Dual redundant control is also available
allowing two independent CorScan systems to share a common database
and thus provide an alternate means of control in the event of failure
of one unit. Updates between the two controllers is automatic.
In addition to controlling the MTX Matrix Switch, CorScan also
provides universal control for the other Cornet Technology UK relay
based products.
The CorScan operating system provides an intelligent Point and
Click interface to perform a variety of commands for:
- Port name Set-up and configuration
- Individual and group connections
- User and security set-up
- local and remote loopback testing
- Port Card Definition (DTE/DCE orientation and Modem Eliminator
function)
- Manipulate Data Lead Signals
- Report/Analyse Alarm Indications
- Connect Test and Monitor Equipment
