A multiservice access concentrator, the IPGate 1000-16 can reliably and securely transport legacy TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) and other circuit-based applications across converged IP networks.  The IPGate 1000-16 provides the capacity to support a wide variety of analogue or digital interfaces at configurable rates from 75bps to 2.048 Mbps.

With its compact switching engine, the MTX-256 requires only one standard equipment rack to support 2048 ports. A fully expanded system occupies half the engine space of a traditional matrix switch.
